Father's Day Gift Guide

Buying gifts for males isn't always as easy as buying gifts for females, so to help you find the perfect gift for your dad I've put together this Father's Day Gift Guide for some last minute suggestions.

These gifts work well for birthdays too if you've already bought your dad a present for Father's Day this year.

I hope these suggestions help inspire you!

Every dad loves relaxing on the couch watching a movie with a beer in his hand and some popcorn, chocolates or lollies to nibble on! Actually I don't think it's just dads that love this either, it sounds good to me too!

Dads often seem to get nostalgic about movies from their past so this set of DVDs, The Decades Collection covering the 60's through to the 00's, with each decade's DVD containing four films that defined that decade is sure to be a winner!

The films featured include the following:

David Beckham Respect

If your dad is a soccer lover, or a fan of David Beckham and enjoys wearing a male fragrance then this might just be the gift for him, David Beckham's newly released Respect fragrance.

Respect is a universal principle, at the core of what it means to be a decent person and sits at the heart of the new fragrance by David Beckham. Respect is built upon the woody earthiness of vetiver. Extracted from the roots of the tropical grass, vetiver oil has a distinctively smoky note that exudes masculinity. It is a beautiful, vibrant scent.

HoMedics Shiatsu Massage Pillow

If your dad suffers with a bad back or just loves back massages then one of the best gift you could give him would be this HoMedics Shiatsu Massage Pillow.

I have one of these massage pillows and it is pure bliss! It completely relaxes my muscles and relieves my back tension.

The pillow settings include shiatsu massage, vibration and heat.

As a physiotherapist I regularly recommend this massage pillow to my patients with sore backs.

Luxury Chandon Chocolate Bouquet

This is one of my favourite gifts for males and one that the males in my life always seem to appreciate receiving! It's the Luxury Chandon Chocolate Bouquet from Edible Blooms. Edible Blooms also have numerous other versions of chocolate and alcohol bouquets, some also incorporating footballs in them for Father's Day. Click HERE to see more options.

Delivery anywhere in Australia is free - yay! Next business day free delivery is available to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide metro. Same day express delivery is available at an extra cost.

Seagrass Money Tree

If your dad loves plants then this Seagrass Money Tree might be a good gift for him. Thinking about it, this would be a cute gift for my dad who loves plants and always used to say that money didn't grow on trees! What better gift to give him than his own money tree! Other plant gift options can be seen HERE.

What will you be gifting your dad for Father's Day this year?

  1. I love the seagrass, but somehow I suspect my husband will not. I am completely stumped for ideas for him this year. I suspect he'll be getting some sort of experience...if I can come up with one. #TeamLovinLife

    1. I'm big on giving experiences as presents too, especially if the person you are gifting it too has everything they need already! Plus an experience has the advantage of not adding to the clutter of the house - lol!

  3. That massage pillow looks kinda rude. But I wouldn't mind it right now as I'm a bit stiff and sore!

Love the idea of the movie collection as well!

  5. My fav is the seagrass money tree. I'm leaving it to my kids to buy hubby's father's day gift this year. I suspect it will be a Bunnings voucher. I will have to get something for my Dad. Dad is 86 so it's getting very hard to buy for him. Chocolate is usually a winner! :-) #TeamLovinLife

  11. Such a nice compilation of gift ideas, it is always difficult to choose when it comes to males. The fragrance sounds good.

  15. We used to have a shiatsu massage thingo for our chair. Never used it. It was fantastic, but as often happens, once you have it, you just forget about it. So we sold it at a garage sale. Now I want it back again!
I had to buy for the hubby, his dad and my dad this year. They got the standard combination of undies, socks, chocolate, book, shirt ...

    1. I keep my Shiatsu pillow on our spare dinin room chair which is close to a power point so it's quick and easy to just plug in every day and use.
